Treble bleed recipes for Strats

Re: Treble bleed recipes for Strats

I've never had a guitar with a treble bleed of any sort. I really wanna try it on my Les Paul's bridge volume, and my Ibanez in both neck and bridge volume pots.
I'd like to keep them bright and tight when rolling the volume down. In fact, I wouldn't mind if they sounded brighter as I roll the volume back.
That would help with clarity and better variety in clean-ish sounds from a single channel amp.

My Strat could also use a bit of a treble boost when rolling the volume back. It gets way too dark and that's what tone pots are supposed to be around for.

If you use 50's wiring and have the tone down a bit, then rolling back the volume gives you clean with bass rolled off.
