Treble CUT at Volume Knob??

Hello, I have a strange idea::scratchch

The guitar has 2 pickups, 1 three way switch and just 1 knob.

Is there any way to wire the potentiometer for acting like a tone knob too? I want to cut treble as the volume is turn down: the lower the volume, the bassier the tone.

Would the treble bleed's mod works just changing the capacitor?

I'd like wire the bridge pickup directly out from the switch, and the pot just for the neck pickup even at the switch's middle position.

Any idea?

I do not have a treble mod cap in the pot, it is just a volume pot. But maybe you are right about the effect of a bigger cap. I'll wait.

With the right pot you may be able to. The 1 meg in my jag cuts heaps of treble as you turn it down. Maybe a resistor somewhere across the lugs.

Your volume control in a passive guitar always dampens the resonance peak when turning it down. It always acts both as a volume and a (soft) tone control.

If you need more then you probably need to get a dual-slider poti, although you don't need one where you can operate both sliders independently.

I GOT IT.

I have put in series an 0.022 and an 0.047 cap, it works nice. When I turn down volume a bit, treble cuts a lot while bass remains. Nice and easy.
