Alright, so it has become really clear now I guess. Aceman just made sense of a 60+ post thread with 1 post. This really isnt an investement grade guitar, and even if it was, it's worth more to me when it's being played than if I wanted to collect it. And anyways, it is indeed just a studio, so it doesn't really matter all that much in the end.
I guess what I will do is try out trem systems on other guitars, and install the one I like most, without thinking to much about mods. Worst comes to it, I'll save up some cash in the long run and buy a standard if I get bored of it.
That's a good question. I've never even thought of that before.Just before I go and do this, I have a question. If I add a bigsby to my les paul, will it still fit in the original hardshell case?
yes I'm pretty sure it'll fit. The bigsby rolls back so that it lies almost flat (no higher than the bridge or original stoptail did) against the body. I've had no problems with my SG fitting in it's case since I added the bigsby
