I just received a new Classic Stack Plus neck pickup that I ordered and the pole spacing is the exact same as my trembucker spaced bridge pickup. As a result, even though I have a strat trem spacing of 2 1/8 at the bridge, the 1 and 6 strings fall inside the outer pole pieces on the Classic Stack Plus by the time they get to the neck. Before I wire it up, does anyone have this pickup in the neck that can confirm that this is normal/intended? If so, have you had any issues? This pickup has a symmetrical pole stagger that matches up well with the compound radius neck I have, but the outside pole pieces are the lowest and now are pretty much outside the sting spacing at the neck. Thoughts/concerns? Or should I just shut up and wire it up? Lol. Thanks!
