Trembucker

I want to put a trembucker in the bridge of my american tele. But my set up guy says that the spacing is wrong. (so that puckup is made for a different bridge/string spacing?) Has anyone tried it? Im guessing it could work ok, but im not settling for ok at this point. Anyone......
I beleive its a PATB-3
thanks

Re: Trembucker

You can use it just fine (assuming it fits the hole). I am pretty sure the standard Fender bridge is 2 1/16" spacing, and anything over 2" should use Trem spacing anyway.

Hell, even modern Gibsons use wider string spacing now.

What Ayrton says! PATB is a very special trembucker called the Parallel Axis which was made for Floyd Rose Trems, but it should work for your tele with a Tele humbucker bridge.
