Is there any way to get them? Does his guitar tech make them for him or something? They sure have awesome tone. Does he use custom pickups too? What would get close to his tone do you think? Wash uffizzi, drive me to Firenzê....

Yes, his guitar tech built two for him. Unfortunately, he did stop making them after only making those two, so you probably won't be getting one. :)

As far as the pickups go, I read somewhere that he was using Schaller's version of a PAF. Maybe a set of 59's in either a full hollow or a good semi hollow will get you the sound you want. :burnout:

Yeah, I think Schaller Golden 50's. I can't find them anywhere....:dammit:

But anyway, the PRS hollowbody looks like a good fit (after I buy the 5 guitars in line before it. Maybe the order will change). I have a CE 22, Les Paul Classic, Dave Murray strat, a fat strat, and a car to buy before it (and I bet it's expensive too).

I thought they had those Schaller Golden 50's at Stew Mac. At least they used to.

I'm looking at an old Guitar Player that says he uses "Seymour Duncan PAF copies."
