And I like it for the most part.

Just wanted to give my kudos to it, lots of stuff to playwith on it. I didnt expect 3 choices on all four channels. :headbang:

It looks a very impressive amp. I've got the Marshall demo DVD, and it's certainly packed full of features! A little too many features for me, which is why I'd like a blast on the VintageModern combo.

I looked at that thing. Too many knobs and buttons. But the VMs do look cool. Completely unecessary for me with a 2204, but hey, thats GAS!

Re: tried the jvm410 today

I just wanna know

Does the JVM live up to the CLASSIC MARSHALL pedigree? Does it stand up to the 1959, 2203, 6100, and Jubilee?

Do tell!

The JVM looks cool..........but what I REALLY can't wait for is the new Kerry King signature jcm 800 2203!:headbang: :headbang:

No matter what anyone thinks of Kerry King, that KK signature Marshall looks like a killer amp! It looks like the amp everyone wanted a JCM 800 to be.

i can clearly state that the JVM 410 is a pure Marshall tone Machine. It's not my taste ,but it delivers the 2203 well.I can't speak for other tones ,since i just cranked it and tried the higher gainish stuff. It's a pure Marshall. And a good one!

I can't agree more Jones! That's the only "stock" Marshall i want to play so much!I am not a stock Marshall fan at all ,but that one can buy me!

The JVM is based on the 2203 circuit or so I have read, it does the older Marshalls very well. I have had the JVM for about a month or so and I keep finding great new sounds, the clean channel alone will do Plexi and non-master Superlead.

I've read a couple reviews and there's a band in brantford who's lead singer/rhythm guitarist just recently got the JVM head and is playing it through his Marshall cab. It blows your mind!!! Still not as cool as a Fender Metal Master (cause it's 550 watts) but it certainly is impressive, versatile and KICK ASS SOUNDING! JCM 800, 900, TSLs, "Plexi"s, it's all in there!
