triple shot problem

just installed a triple shot and p rails in the bridge of my framus. sounds amazing . my guitar is arched so i got the les paul bridge version of the triple shot but the problem is, it`s way to high and the switches are tearing my thumb when i mute. there is no smaller version for an arched body . any ideas guys

can you flip it over with the switchs down?

there are flat ones but they may not fit an arch-top

hey ehdwuld . cant switch it over cause its higher at the trem side. a neck one might do but the switches would be down and the wiring would be different.

ive decided to take out the triple shot . the vol push pull splits the p rails to the p 90 . will loose the single rail but hey , cant have it all

hmmmm if you wire the TS to the same B-R-W-G-S pattern it should work the same just on bottom

the documentation also gives a alternate wiring for the bridge so that the switches "point"
to the coil when split

Actually, I think the neck position LP model will work at the bridge. But if not, you can use the neck position flat model and just do a little sanding on the bottom of the TS to fit your arch top shape. It's very easy and it works perfectly. Plus it will lower the switches even more away from your strings to help alleviate your problem while muting.

It would be a shame to lose out on the full potential of your P-rails PU.
