Triple Shot Questions From Newby

Okay so I have a 2007 or 2008 epiphone 335 (dot) that I am considering modyfying with new pickups (possible bare knuckle mules) and rs guitar works vintage wiring kit (cts pots, vintage wire, etc...). I heard about triple shot and have questions. How does it work, I heard it attaches to a 3 way selector switch, what modes does it have (split coil, parallel, series, etc...). Does this mean I have to get another three way selector switch drilled in and is that even safe for 335 style, how does split coil mode work with triple shot, on split coil mode is there one "A" coil by itself or two combined "A" coils one from each humbucker, if only one coil then which one and does that even sound good or is it too thin, will triple shot negatively affect original in series tone. Please tell me all you know. Thanks

Re: Triple Shot Questions From Newby

I cant answer all your questions since i have never used the rings and am too lazy to look them up on the website (you can do that). The one thing i can answer is that you dont have to drill anything. The switch is on the pup ring. All the wiring connects to a small slider switch thats on the mounting ring, unless im completely mistaken.
