2 + 2 + 1 + 4 = 9. and what is the square root of 9?
Three. Boom, triple shot. Takes three threes to get to nine. Or three times two plus three. So many ways to get to three from here and all of them make sense. :smoker:
Also, if you take 60 (the number of guitars I have) and divide it by 20 (the number of guitars I had when I started making custom guitars) then you will get 3 (half the number of guitars that I have TS in). And 6 guitars divided by 2 (2 pickups in each of those guitars) = 3. (But, how did SD know how many guitars I have? ...da da da da, da da da da...Twilight Zone)
So, yeah, now I'm starting to understand why they may have named it "Triple" Shot.
But I still think "Quad Shot" would have been better.
Maybe they could design a pickup ring that could do: 1. series; 2. split to north coil; 3. split to south coil;
4. parallel; 5. out of phase. Then since it has 5 functions they could call it "
Quad Shot". That would be great! Best of both worlds.......or best of 3 worlds....Oh! Yeah...9 planets in the solar system (some debate about that), divide that by our planet's number (we're the third planet from the Sun), that would equal 3, the square root of 9. But the Earth isn't square, it's round. So maybe we should use pi instead of 3. And I just happen to love pie.
Wait, now I'm getting myself confused. Does
Cinco de Mayo happen on the 6th day of May?
