Triple Shot Wiring Question

Hey everybody,

I think I've decided on Triple Shots, but I want to use the 2 push/pulls along with it.

Can I put the push/pulls on the tone pots instead of the volumes? Also, do I have to wire as it shows or can you use 50's wiring somehow?

Yes, the push/pulls can be on the tones and yes you can use 50's wiring. I just wired my LP this way. Although I didn't like the 50's wiring and went back to wiring it modern. The 50's mod makes using the push/pulls on the tones a little easier since they connect the volume and tone pots instead of being grounded on the back of the tone pot. It just takes a little alteration from what you see in this diagram, but very little. Good luck with the wiring, and let us know if you have trouble.

50's or modern is certainly a personal preference. I prefer 50's myself.

If I used push pulls with triple shots, one of them would be a phase switch, the other maybe a blower or maybe one of those active boosts.
