Triple Shots on a strat, for P Rails

Having a hard time finding info on this... I have a MIM strat, has singles, regular pickguard. I know I'll have to rout out space, underneath, to fit the PRails or any humbucker. No problem. Anyway, I cant figure out which triple shot model to get, or if mods need to be made to the TS or guitar. Anyone have advice, pics, etc?

I have seen several people who mount the flat versions right on top of the pickguard. It actually looks better than I thought it would. You could also get fancy with mini switches, but you might run out of places to put them all. Another option is to put them on a pickguard, use them for several weeks, and only wire switches for the options you find yourself using all the time.
I think the best solution would be a 'Triple Shot Strat pickguard' with switches already integrated...that would be cool.

Thats cool, so the two switches are the same thing, functionally, as the 2 switches on a Tripleshot? I'm thinking about that method, too.

for hss the top switch (2way) is series parallel the lower switch(three way) is p90/humbucker/rail, I also wired the bridge and neck to a TBX tone control and the middle to a 250k and added a treble bleed (.001mf cap) it sounds great, I just removed the PG to put in another guitar so here is a pic of the underside..........after seeing Gary Hoey a couple weeks back I decided to change up the blue strat......0111171950.jpg0111171941a.jpg

Do those small mini switches get in the way when you reach for the 5 way?

you can do it with micro switches too that is how I did mine............View attachment 77719View attachment 77720

Well, you can't get all of the options of a Triple Shot with just two micro switches. You can only get series/split/parallel (but the split is to just one of the coils not either). You'd need two per pup in order to be able to split to either coil in addition to series and parallel.

no the switches dont get in the way at all and yes I have all the options of the triple shots, one switch is a 3 way Humbucker/p90/rail the other switch is a 2 way which is a dedicated series/parallel switch. OOPS I didn't red the last part, yes if you ran 2 p rails then theoretically you would need 4 switches or use two 3 way switches and two push/pull or push /push for series parallel to make it cleaner.
