Those Tobys were great little basses. I dropped quarter pounders in mine it sounded massive. Those things were amazing deals for a while but prices definitely climbed. Really narrow and slim neck, easy for guitar players to adapt to them.

The funny part is I bought the bass for $200, yanked the factory guts, and installed over $350 in Fender parts. It's a big win. I'm having a blast with it. Some guys coming over tomorrow to try it out. Good - maybe I'll be adding more middle pickups in the future. I already have a couple TBX kits in the Fender packaging.
