Trisonic

OK Gentle souls..

This is a pure test track of Marks quite special Trisonics
I'm switching through the switching I sort of bastardised to fit in a three position switch and 2 push/pulls DPDT..

Don't critique the playing, just listen to the tones of the pickups, they are interesting.

Order of play;

so first lot is just a simple chord structure, going through each setting
next a quick A semi pentatonic to hear individual strings.. same settings as the chords section and same order of play.

finish with lots of effect.. just cos I loikes that, also A something or other

Rig:

the Rig being played through is the Helix with a Fender Deluxe silver face on clean, with a Bogren cab IR and a slight touch of tape echo. clean..

just a test to hopefully give you an idea of the range, which I find quite pleasing, very different to any other 3 pickup combo I have played..

Nice tones! Yes, compared to a Fender type pu, they're less scooped and have a warmer, bell like sound, imo. And, c'mon, they're the handsomest looking single coils out there.

How did you wire this up, Mr Pete? Neck > neck/bridge > bridge on the 3 way and a push/pull pot to bring the middle in and out?

The ones I got back in what feels like another age were made by Adeson (they guy who made pups for BM himself, he was really the only game in town at the time for an accurate Tri-Sonic), but just the normal spec with middle rw/rp. Nowadays it's possible to get nice replicas from several quarters, as the knowledge to make them is more widely dispersed.

Icwill try and put up my schematic tomorrow, now I need sleeps I do know that there is an out of phase in there, and bunches of parallels
