TRIVIA QUESTION!!

Re: TRIVIA QUESTION!!

I don't think of the Rhoads as a signature model though. It's sort of the same thing as the Les Paul. Yes, it started off as a signature guitar for Randy, but it's now so much more than his signature guitar. There were artists who had a signature Rhoads. The Les Paul and the Rhoads are not signature models anymore.

At least that's what I believe.

I was thinking that too. I wasn't even supposed to be called the Rhoads. They changed it from Concorde to Rhoads after he died.

The JEM on the other hand has been around since its conception, and its artist is still alive. I can't really think of another 'proper' line that's been along for that long(27 years, my bad, I keep seeing the 25th anniversary Evo as being released last year).

Re: TRIVIA QUESTION!!

I don't know if the Chet Atkins has been continuously made since its introduction. If so, that is my guess. It beats the Les Paul because the LP's continuity of production only begins in 1968.

Re: TRIVIA QUESTION!!

The Les Paul Model was already built, they just needed a "name" on it. Enter Lester Polfus. It was discontinued, then reintroduced sometime later, as has been stated.

Randy had a direct hand in designing the original Concorde, as well as his black one which became the body shape/proportions still in use today in the RR1. It has never gone a year without being made.

The JEM would be 2nd to the Rhoads, though in fairness it was a production model some years before Jackson had a "mass production" setup.

And I did indeed forget all about the Iceman. Good call.

Re: TRIVIA QUESTION!!

I posted the Iceman image strictly in the forum timewaster/troll reference sense.
