Any techs out there good at diagnosing? I'm not doing too well right now so taking it to a shop is not an option, my only working amp is a Roland Micro Cube. I need my tube back.
Last time I used it I unplugged the speaker to test out another cab, I then forgot to reconnect the speaker wire and turned it back on. It then smoked a little, and there's some sute on the board. I've been told before it's probably just a short from turning it on while it was unplugged and the speaker wires had no where to go.
Everyone I've talked to this far thinks it's just a resistor that needs replacing, if so. How do I determine that? I feel confident finding one online (resistor) and replacing it, but not much beyond that. As my abilities/knowledge don't go much farther then basic soldering.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
