AND SÃO PAULO-SAO PAULO
There are a lot of good technicians there, BUT NOT Here where i live.
i live in a city that underrated by all other cities in brazil, so,... a lot of quality services doesn´t REACH My region.

ive heard of people modding their emg's and putting 2 9volts in to expand the tonal range but its not necessary and its probably a mix of he doesnt know what hes talking about and forcing u to upgrade to his standards........... tone snob!!!

The 85 is the bridge is going to sound bigger and fuller, with more tonal qualitys than the 81 has.

And if its distorting the clean channel, Roll the volume knob back! on emg's i call the volume knob the throttle.

yo man carefull for brazilian luthiers...most of them suck at their jobs,BIG TIME.
i had awfull experience installing my duncan jb humbucker and making it sound like a jb.had to go threw 3 darn luthiers to do it right.
