Tube Driver TD-752 Overdrive Feedback

Hello everyone,

I picked up a 100 Watt Tube Driver Amp a while back, and I've been having difficulty with the overdrive channel.

For those of you who aren't familiar, this amp was made in Denver in the 90's and works sort of like a 50/50 solid state/tube amp. There are 2 channels; the clean channel is all solid state, and the Overdrive channel is run through a 12ax7 tube (I think that's how it's described, at least).

My only concern with the amp is that the OD channel has excessive feedback/static, even when the guitar is turned all the way down. I tried opening it up to see if anything was visibly corroded, but everything looked fine. For some unknown reason, the tube as well as a few capacitors are glued into the circuit board.

I love the amp, but I could really use some advice for cleaning up the overdrive channel. I understand that some noise should be expected, but this seems over the top. Suggestions (or thoughts from others who have used/owned a Tube Driver amp) are appreciated.
