i used my AKG solid tube last month and it was working fine! yesterday i tried using it again and nothing, no sound at all. anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

if the cable was faulty wouldn't i hear a crackle or something? i dont hear nothing.
tube mics don't require phantom power. i was thinking it could be the cable, but the cable for it is a 6pin cable that i can't find any where.

Right but they require power power, 2 or 3 of the wires in the multipin cable actually carry the voltage to the mic.
