Tune for Rid

[Marinblues]

Here's a tune which was inspired by Rid who most of you know and is a regular poster here.

Rid is such a cool guys and makes some really great music and he's really into some cool melodic guitar lines and tones.

nice vibe there, Marin ... i liked the dynamic aspects you used and the finger vibrato added alot to the immediacy and melodic quality

which guitar/pickups/amp/etc for this one? .. strat?

I used my Fernandes lawsuite strat copy with fender pickups and that little red japanese box which you like as well.

That was awesome Marin. You can hear the little bits of Rid influence mixed in with your own playing. Nice tone too

Thanks. No, Rids still around.....the style of the tune just reminded me of some of the stuff he does.

I used a DgStomp and a Tube Factor.

I think that the basic idea is to get a lot of "juice" in the tone and then roll off the tone know slightly.
