Re: Tune: Heavy and Happy - Seth Lover, Jazz, Plexitone, Les Paul
Buy one more and let me mod it into a more vintage sound
Hehe sorry.
Sounds great Stevo...it is still unreal to think that it is my little project out there.
Agreed...great tone, great tune Steve...That Plexitone really sounds phenomenal . Were you running it through that homemade amp or the 1987X for this? This one had some Satch feel to it as well..when he does the "happy" thing. Nice melodies. One of those things you don't want to end because it's very catchy.
One thing I want to thank you for is that you keep swapping pickups and running it through the pedal now I know I def don't want a CC or Seth for my Hamer..not that they sound bad...not at all..they sound great..but they are not what I'm looking for. Your tones are fairly similar to mine (amp-wise) so your clips really help..Thank You
Now just get "not happy" with the Seth and throw a Custom back in that Paula....then record something

Jeff that was my home made amp at very low volume. I have actually slowed down, regarding pickup swapping I have had several pickpus in my LP and teles. I had a few in a strat too
Here's a sample page I put together a few months ago: pickup demos
Well there are at least 2 happy customers in Santa Barbara, and one runs a music store I get around a little bit too, and I certainly do chat it up.. your cool little toy :13:
