I bought the DT-7 for its Buzz Feiten Tune System setting. Funnily enough, I have not had much cause to use this feature.
Sometimes, it is possible to hear a tuning discrepancy even though your digital tuner says that your guitar is in tune. For me, regardless of whatever tuner I have to hand, the final arbiter is my ears.
I should mention that I play a lot of fretless bass. This provides excellent training for moment by moment intonation assessment. :naughty:
while not as "good" as a strobe, my Korg DT-7 has always been excellent.
