I have an Agile-3000 and i love the guitar but the thing wont stay in tune for like 5 minutes and its really pissing me off. Has anyone had this problem on an Agile and how can i fix it? Im about to go out and buy a set of sperzels. Is there anyway i can fix this problem?

Re: Tuning Key problems

Have you tryed stretching the strings really well first and retuning?
After that, try some better brand strings...
If all else fails, tuners would help...

Re: Tuning Key problems

the strings i have on it are GHS not what i normally use but theyve been on it for about 2 weeks. but i had this same problem on my agile acoustic with the same grover tuners and i put elixirs on that and it still dosent stay in tune well. could the tuners just be installed very poorly?

Re: Tuning Key problems

try lubricating the nut slots before you go replacing anything. my artist never used to stay in tune, and one day i just got fed up with it and tried the ol' "graphite from a pencil" trick. to my surprise, it works well. in case you don't know what i'm talking about, just take a no. 2 pencil and sort of color in the inside of the slot for each string.

Re: Tuning Key problems

for some reason in my experience brand new elixirs have always been quick to go out of tune.........on my mandolin, my bass, and my friends guitar.

Re: Tuning Key problems

Do the tuners have an adjustment screw on them? If so, tighten them

I like the Sperzels on my Nitefly.
