Tweak Fuzz.

I know this might be a repeat. But simple answer. Yay, or Neigh, to the Tweak Fuzz. I'm so torn between the tweak fuzz, the fulltone '69 and the analogman fuzz. What you think is the best for value, in that it is worth what you pay?

Re: Tweak Fuzz.

I have no experience with the other two but I can say the TF is worth the $. It can be "tweaked" so much its great for almost any guitar or amp combo. You can go from a light almost OD type fuzz to heavy thick buzzsaw fuzz.

Re: Tweak Fuzz.

Ok, is the Tweak, just changings in the frequencies in which the fuzz affects more? Or what is it.

Re: Tweak Fuzz.

the tweak fuzz is my favorite fuzz ive tried because it seems to compress better for a better lead tone. Ive tried the fulltones, and i did not like them. Basically, i think those would only sound good with an amp that is already well overdriven. I also am not a fan of fuzzes that have overwhelming bass and output. Almost every fuzz ive tried has alot of that, but the Tweak Fuzz does not. Its a much more comfortable fuzz sound, to my ears. Plus, obviously the tweak function is cool.

Re: Tweak Fuzz.

I own both the Tweak Fuzz and the Fulltone '69.

The Tweak Fuzz is one of the most versatile and best sounding fuzz's out there and you can adjust it for a wide variety of tones. It's great!

The 69 does one thing but does it fabulously. The '69 is simply the best "Fuzz Face" type fuzz I've ever owned and if you're looking for Jimi Hendrix in a box, plug your Strat into a '69 and a good wah wah and you'll find that 69 nails Jimi's tone better than anything else. Just amazing.

Ah, ok, understand. So is the "fuzz face" style fuzz on the tweak fuzz okay? Like i guess im still constructing my pedal legacy, so should i get a tweak fuzz AND a 69' later on?

Re: Tweak Fuzz.

The Fuzz Factor is a cool pedal, but it's a litle on the wild side in the consistancy department. A lot more expensive too. The Tweak Fuzz is a very good fuzz pedal, especially at that price. However, my issue with the TF is how it plays with other pedals. By itself, I've got zero complaints. With other pedals it's noisy. At least in my experience.

I'd recommend you heading over to www.tonefactor.com and checking out the Huckleberry fuzz pedal. Pretty nice sounding pedal for a decent price.

Re: Tweak Fuzz.

Im overseas so basically i have to buy and risk it. The range of pedals over here in Perth, Australia is quite lame and EXTREMELY expensive. I bought a Keeley Modded TS9 from America first hand. I saved about $100 and that would be just a normal TS9 aswell.

Re: Tweak Fuzz.

Hey, i've checked out the MI AUDIO Neo Fuzz and it is AWESOME. I'm gonna settle for it and support a fellow down under-rian. Can't wait to get it. WOO

Re: Tweak Fuzz.

I had a Crunch Box. Sold it because it was the early version with way to much volume. He's changed the pots on the newer versions. I'll probably pick one of those up at some point. The pedal sounded awesome though. It was just a little 'too much' of a good thing. Very well made and affordable!

Re: Tweak Fuzz.

I liked mine until it went pear shaped but Scott Miller has kindly offered to have a look at it even though I bought it used on eBay. How cool is that !.
