Is that the one he used to play when he was younger? I remember reading about it in his diaries on his site.

I've got that same guitar, color and all. Got screwed on ebay at the start but after a TON of work to it, it's a sweet guitar. Big problem is that first, I don't play much that requires a 12 and man is it HEAVY. Now I've played over three hours with a Les Paul (75 Les Paul lol) hanging around my neck and didn't flinch once but the doubleneck? After about half hour I want to cut it in two lol.

I had an Ibanez cherry copy I got in 1980 that was SWEET. The twelve was ok but the six was awesome. Played as well as my LP. Sold it in 1992 to buy a house. So 12 years later I paid myself back with interest by gettin' a Gibson.

If you can save up and get the Ibanez (I never played the Epiphone, but I had a few Epi LPs that the Ibanez was much better than), I guarantee you won't be sorry. Even the pickups sounded great on the 6. Again the 12 was eh so you'd want to put some Duncans in there. That's what I did with my Gibson. Seth Lover neck Antiquity bridge in the 12, Seth Bridge Antiquity neck in the 6. Why that way? Cuz I had one double creme and one Zebra of each so I matched up cremes and zebras since both pickups are similar and they match REALLY well. :smoker: :beerchug: :beerchug: :beerchug: :beerchug:
