two hot rails & a Custo Custom..need to replace CC....but with what?

Picked up the new Charvel traditional...MIJ. Excellent guitar but I don't like the CC in the bridge. The Hot rails in the mid & neck sound great but the CC sounds squashed & muddy in comparison....what matches well in the bridge? I think it has a slight maple top. Any advice?

Distortion all the way, bro. I've got a DD/Cool Rails/Hot Rails in one of my Charvels and it is the sickest tone monster I've got.

The Charvel traditional comes with a custom 5 in the bridge not a CC, hot rails middle, and cool rails in the neck. I used to have one also. The distortion, custom, JB, full shred should work well.

Hey thanks fellas!! Hmmmm....Custom 5. I [pulled the bridge pup out and it had two stickers on it. One said CC & the other said ALV. I also assumed that it was a Custom 5 thinking the ALV meant alnico 5(being in a cc of course makes it a C5) but I called Alex at SD & he said that if it says CC than it's an SH-11. He says that ALV would be the initials of the person doing the inspection. dunno???? I'm finding that the research I'm doing on the web also shows that these are C5s & not CCs. dunno Dunno DUNNO!!! But I DO know that whatever it it.....I don't like it in that particular guitar. I just may take Travis's advice and go with the DD & match up ceramic with ceramic/ceramic. What about JB or Scrm/Dmn?? Probably close to results of the other...anyone know? Dunc Dist does sound like a good way to go w/ that one...but I guess I'll just keep testing. Any input would be welcome.

I'm also waiting Hot/Cool Rails for my MIJ Jackson. Hope will fit well with the JB in the bridge
