Man, the Triumph with it's great vibe and switches! That Jazz OH YEAH!!! Then there is still a plethora of bassy Love up there.
Thanks for including Blue! :friday: : popworm: :dunno: :fart:
Real tough one. Being more of a Fender guy Steve's Thunderbird and Reggie's Triumph
got me all messed up with GB's 65.
In the end Reggie's just oozes KOOL with just a hint of menace.
All great contenders and would be proud to have anyone of those basses in my stable.
This has turned out to be a great poll. So many solid contenders. Odd to have a bass thread without a vintage Precision, Ricky or original Stingray, but an interesting collection regardless. The EB-0, the Ripper and Reggie's all great, but in the end I can't go past GB's '65 Jazz.

Again - I knew that would appeal to you. It's Old Dear's Brutha from a Nutha Mutha.
Regarding lack of a P, look at the entries. Just not that many...
And the Ricks/EB's were close. But we had some bad@$$ vintage, wood, and flame/quilt that just couldn't be denied.
Like I said...it's not easy being me, but someone has to make the call. A 15 option poll would help a lot....
I voted Z.
As far as lacking more "classic" (read: Fender) basses from the running... who would vote for them? Other than Rickenbacker, all my favorite bass sounds are Fender. But they all look the same, for the most part. I have P & J copies I could have submitted, but they just look like regular Fenders. If somebody wants to win this contest, of course they'd submit their most unique and impressive bass. Thats what will get votes.
At the moment, the second highest in the voting is a '65 Fender Jazz. I think everyone has their own criteria. Some people like special finishes, others like rarities and oddities, and some like the classics.
