Unusual trembucker identification

Hey there.
Once again I've brought some curious pickups to your attention. Need help with identification of this thing.

At first I thought it was old TB-11 or, possibly, TB-14, but later I've noticed some strange details:

- SD baseplate but with "Made in USA" inscription and "Seymour Duncan Pickups" instead of simple "Seymour Duncan";
- magnet looks like alnico;
- wires are definitely not original, so at one point pickup was disassembled;
- anyway, it is working and readings are 7.9K, 7.47K and 15.37K;
- most unusual part is that inner coil is screw one like it is neck pickup but with TB baseplate. Haven't heard of reverse trembuckers.


Any suggestions? Possible fake?

Ah, and the most important thing I've missed - it is not trembucker. Just measured.

So, looks like 99% fake?

Or it's a hybrid that somebody put together.

Nope, I've found few more similar pickups in the web. All with the same square cornered baseplate (btw it is not nickel silver - screw threads are yellowish) and reverse screw coil.

So be careful. Fakes are real.
