Upgrade my electronics and wiring

Hello, I need some help:
I would like to change pots and pu switch on my Ibanez RG370. They're old, i can spot rust on the switch, and the tone knob buzz when turned.
I've read that CTS and Alpha are the most used quality pots around, i'm not sure about the switch. On the ibanez wiki i cannot find any information about the size of the pots and switch.

Also i want to change the wiring. The guitar is HSH but i want to change it to HH. Right now i've Jazz and JB, in the middle the original powersound, it sucks and i dont use it.
I'm thinking about keeping the 5 way switch: 1 neck h, 2 neck single coil, 3 neck+bridge h, 4 bridge single coil, 5 bridge h
Is it possible?

Yep it's possible. Here's the diagram: http://static---guitarelectronics.a...ctronics/W650-H550-Bffffff/W/wd2hh5l11_00.jpg You'll need a 5 way super switch if you don't already have one.

I think all switches are the same dimensions as far as how they mount but I'm not sure. For the pots you can measure the ones you have right now and the pots sold on ebay usually have the dimensions.

For the buzzing, just make sure there are ground wires running to each of the electronics and that you shield your control cavity.

CTS are pretty good pots. BTW, I think Ibanez guitars have linear taper pots, as opposed to the more common audio taper pots used by most others.

I checked, reportedly Ibanez uses linear for their volume pots and regular audio taper for the tone pots.

study the diagram you decide on and do not divert from it unless you are familiar with electronics 101. if the ground locations and jumpers are not shown specifically aka there is just a symbol there ;remember to avoid ground loops.
