USB 9-Volt battery.

Haven't seen it before. Looks like a fine idea. I'd have to calculate what 3.5Wh translates to in actual pedal usage.

That would be perfect for the batteries in my acoustic guitars. I always forget to turn off the onboard tuner and kill the batteries. Thanks for posting this.

Yup. I always just set my active guitars and bass down on the stand . . . forgetting that the plug is the On/Off switch.

Some of the import nano-pedals have 5v USB connectors and can be run from your phone charger. The pedal has a built in charge pump that can provide 10v to the pedal in addition to the BOSS style 9V power connector.

Cool idea, except the USB-C connector is incredibly small, wimpy and weak. They didn't improve things with that (the "new" USB/Thunderbolt connector spec).

Unless that's a mini-USB.

Micro USB is the janky one. It has two little pressure clips that wear out pretty quickly. C is the newer one on Androids. My MacBook charges with that style, seems pretty solid.

While we're at 9V batteries.

Is there a "9v" sized battery, that puts out, i.e. 4,5, 3; or 6 volts?

-I'm using a variable output adaptor on my Joyo Ultimate Drive. ; at 4,5 volts it's a big, bold, fuzzy brown tone.

Though; - for all the pedals that doesn't have an adaptor jack. :/

...just thinking out loud!
