To direct your signal through both the low and hi input of an amp. Deal? That'd provide an almost instant clean volume boost. I think. What would combining the two do?

That's mostly curiosity. But I'll get one and direct my clean signal + pedals to the big AOR and use the VC with a boost for dirty tones.

That VC sounds GREAT! I left all the controls at noon and was totally happy with it! I'm sure I'll adapt the EQ a bit though. Also, with a split on the screaming demon it's easy to get from clean to distorted. Just push/pull. Then with a boost I can get a lot more gain. The amp really sounds beautiful. Bright switch makes the clean tone country like

Most amps have some tricky switching wired into the jacks that shorts them together when they're both plugged in. So, to get the volume increase, you'd probably have to remove the plug from the low input and plug it back into the high input. Your amp might be different, but without a schematic (or simply testing it) there's no way to know.

Well it depends on amp I know a lot of vintage amps work with all their inputs filled (marshalls, voxs) but im not sure with new amps maybe check ur manual it may say something their.

Another question... Both amps use a footswitch from a standard guitar cable, both with reverb and drive on the same tip/sleeve arrangement.


AB/Y Switch to switch both amps to OD or reverb at the same time...?
