V-amp2 VS Boss MT-2

Would this be a wise descision, to sell my vamp2 and buy a Boss MT-2 cuz i feel why have a v-amp when all you really use is distortion and like maybe delay, so shud i sell off my v-amp and buy a MT2??

i just use my v-amp 2 at home. I think it is a bit a toy but sounds nice. Soldano (modern High Gain) model rocks (with cab #12) .... I just use one or two settings with the V-amp! I have no problem with that.
A mt-2 can make good sounds too, but it doesn't model amps.. hm hard decission: a/b it!!

I love my Vamp2's distortion way more than any other pedal I've heard. I run the modern hi gain model, gain maxed, presence maxed, no effects, eq in low/mid/high is 7.5/6/8. For cleans, I use preamp bypass and my neck pickup, with a touch of chorus.

Wehres the low and high on a v-amp all i got in mid otuta tho 3 that i can see

Low - 7.5
Mid - 6
High - 8

It might be considered bass and treble.

yah i kno dude but do you mean on the amp on or on the v-amp cuz i cant see any high or low on my v-amp

Read my edit on it, it would be on your V-amp. Keep your amp set as clean as possible, transparent preferably.

I use Modern High Gain:
Presence maxed
Gain 5.5
Treble 9
Mid 4-6
Bass 4
Cab #12

I would have kept my V-amp2 because I think Boss MT-2 is kinda crappy stompbox although it has some decent tones but very few...well MT-2 is an open-debate pedal that some people love and some people hate...ok I don't hate it but I don't like its artificial sound...what I really want is to have lots lots of stompboxes,amps,modelers and compare them to each other and write my opinions...well I can do that endlessly for weeks really...

do a search and you can find some pretty good V-amp settings. I used to use my V-amp hooked to my comp with midi cables and the settings would change automatically so i wouldnt have to set each knob

uhh no im askign about V-amp setting hehe, and i got another question, you know all the amps?? for exacmple, Rectified hi gain, how do i get the Rectified Head, It says that right under Rectified high gain does anybody kno how to acess it, or does puttign the cab with that amp make it that?

keep "tap" pressed by dialing the amp knob an you come in the second layer ( the grey amps)....
The 17-32 LED shows you that you chose the second amp (the grey)
