V-Picks. Any experience with these

I've been using the D'Andrea Delrex large jazz pick for a while now, but I'm looking for something with a better grip. I don't drop picks often, but if I sweat at all the pick can shift during playing. V-Picks are supposed to improve grip, and they have some that are similar in shape to the D'Andrea. Anyone have experience with these?

Thanks in advance guys.

I've heard about Gorilla Snot or using violin rosin on your fingers, but haven't tried either.

I've never used those but if you want something with more grip then you may try Ice Pix or Dava Control Picks...just a thought.

I've used them. Actually, a lot of SDUGF members have because a few years ago, Vinny from V Picks came here and gave them out to members. They do have a highly-polished surface that makes them grippier. And they're excellent picks. I particularly like his red "jalapeño" pick for acoustic guitar. It has a "clicky" quality similar to real tortoise.

Here's a trick you might want to try. Score your picks with a razor blade in a "tic-tac-toe" pattern. It'll improve the grip.

I love them... nothing plays like them. Totally worth the money in my opinion. Grips to your fingers but just GLIDES across the strings. Killer smooth but have a kind of bell like top. I use the smaller jazz style ones. I saw them at a rehearsal studio and couldn't resist trying a single pick that costs multiple dollars but damn, it shut me up good. And when you pay for a pick like that you tend to take care of it and not lose it like you would other picks, and they last an incredibly long time too.

I have a few and just can't get used to the tone of them. There is a chirp on the attack that drives me nuts.

Chirp is a better word for it than I had. I find it best with distortion, if you play clean you might find it lacking punch because of how easily it moves through the strings.

I've been using them for a few years, they are decent picks. A tad expensive, but hard to find any in those thicknesses.
