VH clip done live with my band

People always arguing about'' I got the VH amp!'' '' No, I got the VH sound with my amp'' ''I have my Plexi build tweaked for Eddie!'' This is from the Metro forum BTW. This is just a JMP 50 watt MV NOT tweaked for VH. I'd put this clip up against those anyday and its nothing special. Its also live with no fancy mic preamps or anything. Basically I'm saying all you need is a decent amp. :smack:

Re: VH clip done live with my band

it sounds abit like ed, but not too much, its too saturated for early ed

cool cover of a cool tune though! :D

Thats exactly my point. I wasn't trying to sound like Ed. Lots of people are though and they don't. Any good amp will get close.

I like the tone! I think the harmonics are pretty dead on...to my ear anyway...maybe not "brown" enough though?

Although, speaking of Doctor songs, I always liked Humble Pie's "I Don't Need No Doctor" a lot better than this song.

Great cover...cool guitar playing. One of my favourite VH tunes.

Never heard that one. Is it a blues tune? Is that the same Humble Pie from the '60's?
