I own a PB 45, and love the hell out of it. Can be run in Class A/B mode (around 45 watts) or Class A mode (around 30 watts). Cleans are great, useable reverb, and wonderful smooth, thick gain. Takes pedals very well also. I play anything from blues and jazz to some modern rock (Fuel, Incubus, Stone Temple Pilots, etc.) and it handles it all well. It could also tackle country well I'd imagine, but I wouldn't look here for anything too heavy. I suppose it's something like a Marshall/Vox pairing. There are lots of options on each channel to tweak your tone, like boost switches, edge switches, and so on.
You don't have to be cranked up super loud to get the tubes purrin', but on the other hand it has plenty of volume and cut to be heard in a good sized venue. I played a show with about 300 people in the audience through an unmiked 2x12", with vocals and drums on the PA and an Ampeg 8x10" bass cab on the other side of the stage; still had no trouble being heard

. I've heard complaints of cleans getting a tad dirty after the amp has been running a while, but I've yet to encounter that issue.
