Yup, sounds just like the one I tried out... very nice. Tight as hell, dry crunch, articulate and defined. A little flat, but that could very well be the mix.

Killer amps, I'd love to get one to layer with my Recto, but when pushed into highgain territory, they sound very similar to MKIV's.

That's a good sounding metal amp, but I think there is a ton of EQing going on with this mix. The whole mix sounds a little too hollow and defined. It could be a lot fuller sounding, but maybe a really tight, defined sound like this what they were after. Whenever I hear vocals like this, I try to imagine them being delivered by a Klingon warrior after a battle, and then they seem so much cooler. It would appear that I am a massive nerd.

Or possibly not enough! LOL There's plenty of things wrong with the mix, but that's how the amps actually sound in the room.

On the Metal tip, anyone see the magazine article chicks of metal (something like that title)? I think it is in Revolver? Woa, I love those dark haired gothy looking girls.

Hm I have a few VHT UL's and they don't sound anything like that. That recording sounds really dry and flat.
