Vibrola upgrades

Someone gave me two upgrade ideas for my vibrola on the SG. I think it was on here, but it may have been real life.

One was a rocker bridge for tuner stability.

The other was an improvement on the mechanism for mounting the arm.

I cannot for the life of me remember what the trem arm mod was, and I've grown tired of the arm slinging around willy nilly.

Anyone hear know what it was?

I haven't tried to see if it's a whole tone or semi tone . I will check tomorrow
Pulls up and dives tho

Roller bridge helps alot

My trem stays in tune just fine. Has about the a little more range than a floating Strat bridge.

I'm not concerned with replacing the thing, I'm just tired of the arm swinging around

Got an image of yours so I can take guesses at what would remedy it?

Yeah, maybe it's just time to lose the arm. It looks a lot cooler with it though. But man if it isn't a pain

Between the washer and the arm,

Add something to increase friction

A rubber o ring or paper or foam

Trim it small enough to hide behind the arm

They should have plastic washers at the hardware store
It should crush a bit to slow the arms descent
