Videos of my first "real" gig!

Re: Videos of my first "real" gig!

Although that was some awesome playing I actually thought it ruined the song. I'm a big fan of Satch, Gilbert, Friedman etc so I love shredding. But there was nothing left of the original song there, it was just an excuse to solo over a backing track (extremely well of course).
Great playing though!!!
For a first gig, and one so young, it was really awesome. I just like that song!

Re: Videos of my first "real" gig!

I really liked "The Sky is Crying" because you kept cool. That's hard for shred guys, so keep it up.

Re: Videos of my first "real" gig!

One thing though, get a single coil strat and your tone will be fantastic with your playing ability.

Re: Videos of my first "real" gig!

haha! I opened the video, took one look, and knew you were at a Huey's. I used to play at the Huey's in Southaven a lot. Sounds good bro!

Thanks for all the comments guys, I really appreciate them! :D

Yeah, my Kramer is my workhorse. I got it $175 used, but I think it was a pretty good deal considering it has an Original Floyd Rose. I should have played the Strat behind me (not mine though) :biglaugh:

Re: Videos of my first "real" gig!

I sure as hell couldn't do that at 16...oh wait, I'm 28 now and I still can't do that!! Nice playing! :)

Re: Videos of my first "real" gig!

Dude, seriously, awsome playing. I wish I could do that at the age of 16! That was awsome.

Re: Videos of my first "real" gig!
