Vintage 30's question

Are there any speakers that will give a tighter, bassier sound without mud (machine gun riffs, etc.)? My Vintage 30's sound pretty good, just wondering if there's something else.

Add a sealed 2x12 extention cab. You're not going to get the focused bottom end you're after out of a 1/2 open back combo.

It's your cabinet - V30's are tight and clear as hell in a closed back, 2x12 or bigger cabient.

Maybe a gt-75, they are tight and bassy, but the bad part is they are scooped in the mids.
