Vintage Strat PUPs...

My buddy just told me he had some authentic 60's Strat pickups lying around that he would just go ahead and give to me...so of course I'm accepting 'em

How would these sound? I'm pretty happy with my stock singles (Fender Tex-Mex, haha) but i'll probably swap 'em out anyway...

Of course if I don't feel like keeping 'em, I'll have 'em for sale on here...

i have the duncan ant II reproductions of those and i really love the 60's tone. If they are really authentic 60's pickups, im sure youll love them, but in any case id swap em in anyway. they must be quack machines just like the ant II's!

EP....Expect clean,jangly,vintage tone...Ask Lew about his 63 strat pickups and he'll tell you more about em...At any rate you'll love the pickups I'm sure...I Own the Antiquity Texas Hots and the Surfers and if the pickups you have are anything like what Duncan copied,WOW!

Sounds sweet. I know I played these pickups a while ago but it was in HIS Strat thru HIS amp so I dunno how they compare to my stuff...
