Volume dropped on my Randall RG100 while playing

I was just practicing with my new/used Randall RG100 classic and suddenly the volume dropped, gradually over the course of a few seconds. It held there after that. The guitar I was using was a Mustaine Dean with the active pups.

Which I'm "kind of" ok with, as I bought it for a home practice amp and the volume at the lowest setting is mind bendingly loud, now it's actually more tolerable, I'm just thinking it will likely get worse. However it lost some of the low end rumble I dug. I got it used from Guitar Center and I'm still well within my 30 day return window...

A. battery for your active pickups
B. transistor in the SS head is dying.

Also, try other guitar and speaker cables.

+1

Try new battery
Try a different guitar through the amp.

Been a crazy busy month. I tried another guitar with passive pups, and another cable I have, and the volume level dropped after about a half hour of playing. How expensive a fix is dying transistors?
