Voodoo 57s vs Duncan A2P CS

Looking for a smooth tone for my PRS Cu22. Think Slash.
I tried WCR Darkburst, but the bridge was too trebly and lack mids (for me). I tried a long time ago some stock A2P (in a different guitar and different amp.. well) but was not completly satisfied: harsh bridge but nice neck (but again, it was a different guitar).

I would like to find a fat pickup (but vintage tone and output, not over-the-top PU), with full mids and smooth highs. Smooth and liquid neck PU, full and buttery mids (with a enough bite and power) bridge.

I thought about either Voodoo 57s (the smoother from Voodoo) or A2P CS (because of Slash and the fact that they seems a bit smoother than the stock A2P)
Price are the same. 4 conductors would be appreciated. (it's ok for Voodoo, but I'm not sure for Duncan A2P CS)

Any idea?

I think the stock APH's are fantastic, especially in the neck. The Slash custom shop pups are built on antiquity hardware if I remember correctly, and scatter wound...and maybe overwound a little.

I have a set of APH's in my Dean Hardtail, which is similar to your CU22. The stock neck is just what the doctor ordered. For the bridge, I just had it overwound slightly. The standard is around 7.85 if memory serves, and I had mine wound slightly hotter, it reads 8.43. That gives just a little extra kick and beefs up the mids and lows just slightly...perfect for me. That can be done as a shop floor custom for just a little extra if I remember correctly, but don't quote me on that.

You can get them 4 conductor, or 2...doesn't matter.

Have you thought about the Custom Custom? Full mids and buttery highs?

Nice idea! I got to HC and it could be a nice deal.
What model would you suggest me for the neck (with BBQ bridge, for thatSlash tone)? Genuine Texas? APH II neck?
I already have a Pearly Gates neck, but it could go in another guitar if needed. I don't know how compare a Genuine Texas and a PGn.

Yes off course. I had a CC for a long time in another guitar (Ibanez S). I loved it but got rid of it, finally. Too much mids (a sort of one-trick pony but not completly, but the mids were very smooth and buttery as I like). A bit too much "modern" and over the top. Nothing really wrong with this pickup,I really like it. I could let him a chance later (my PRS got a bit more bass and highs than the softer Ibanez) if I can't find something that I like.
I have several guitars, and I would prefer to orient the PRS towards a more "vintage" (but with balls) tone. My others guitar have powerfull PU (Bare Knuckle, Bill Lawrence).

Finally I found a good deal on a A2Pn used. And I ordered a BBQ. I will try this combo !

Thank you for your help.
