Just a little more gain! Listen to Joy Division, they used a cranked AC-30 and I've never been able to replicate that tone. AC-30's are way too expensive for a broke-ass whiteboy like me.

Saladin...no drive sounds the same on different amps, and it can easily run a big Hiwatt, trust me it has enough gain and it is using the same concept as the Plexi, two channels and a boost.
Plus I used my strat with singlecoils......

The pedal sounds nice. I like how it doesnt colour the sound too much and overpower the natural sound.

I hope it has more bass/low mids in real life though.

You do not want too much colour, the next you ask for is more colour
The second channel has plenty of mids and bottomend for a Voxlike thing
And we are pushing the boss for an earlier release this year, he took too long when we made the Plexitone, it was finished in 2004, and it only came out at the very end of the year.
