Me too. I bought one just when they started to sell them and, no regret!
If I was in USA I would buy that for a friend of mine. Shipping costs to Europe would be bigger than the cost of that baby.

I thought the same thing when I saw this thread but it's $300.00 with the rebate, not $200.00. It's still a great price for a great amp and I want one.

Last year I bought the Tweaker cause of the sale and rebate.

This year the Night Train's gonna be an addition.

My buddy AJ really wants to get one. He gave me his Sovtek MIG50 head and Silvertone Twin Twelve cabinet w/vintage Jensens to sell for him so he can get one of these Night Train heads. I listed them on the Trading Post page and also put them on the Denver & Boulder Craigslist for him.

He plans to run the Night Train through his other Silvertone Twin Twleve cabinet that he has. It has a Vintage 30 & a Weber C12N clone Ted made for me years ago in it.

Hope I can help him out with this.

It's $300 on sale, then another $100 off for the Vox rebate

Total of $200. 😄

Wow. I paid more than that for a used one!

It's still my daily-use amp, almost two years later, so no regrets. Maybe I should grab a second and...I have no idea what I'd do with it.

That's what I thought too so I called Sweetwater and was told by a rep that it was $300.00 with the rebate. Unless he was wrong. I was gonna buy one on the spot if it was $200.00.

The rep told me it was an instant rebate. The add is a bit misleading.

Even at $300, it's the lowest a used one would go for......plus the warranty. Tempting.

With my luck, I'll buy the H&K TubeMeister and two years later it'll be $300. I'd be kinda pissed if I bought the Night Train for full retail last year.

I hope the rep was wrong or he just didn't know about the Vox rebate. Gonna look into it. I'd like to pay $200 for that amp.

Bad news.....the amp is definitely not $200. I called Sweetwater back and was told that the amp would be $299.99 with no further rebate. I still want one.

Good news.....it's still a great price and a great amp.

I hope the customer service rep was an idiot because that would be false advertising and could easily be challenged. They are advertising a $100 "price drop." In addition, they are also offering a $100 mail in rebate with copy of store receipt.
