Vox Tonelab

I've seen countless ads for this product and it looks like a pretty useful product... It's supposedly able to replicate the sounds of like 16 different tube amps really accurately, using a real tube.

Anyone know anything about it?

Re: Vox Tonelab

All I know is never say that the tube doesn't actually work ... LOL

Sorry B2D, just having a laugh ;)

Apparently it's a better modeller than the Line 6 PODs ... but since I'm still happy with my current Line 6 I'm not rushing to try it

Re: Vox Tonelab

One thing that's cool about the Vox modeling stuff is that it does highgain rock and metal tones very well. Also, very good Voxy clean tones. It's a tossup between the POD XT and the Tonelab. I practice with a Vox Valvetronix head on a Jubilee 4-12, and it's the best practice setup I've ever used. Vox stuff is popular because it feels like a tube amp under your fingers.
