Use the Twin model (Blackface 2x12) and dial it in really good for the acoustic. Just be ready for it to not sound so good with an electric on that patch. This applies to any electric guitar amp though. For the best sound, run DI in to the board if you have the room.

Does the Valvetronix attempt to model the Roland Jazz Chorus amplifier? If not, I suggest that you get a suitable pre-amp/buffer/DI box to run your acoustic guitar via a full range PA.

Nope, no Jazz Chorus model in it. Could cause an issue since Roland has a model of that amp in their Cubes. That's why I used the Twin. Still, it's definitely better to go direct to the PA, which is what I do now. We don't have enough channels so our soundperson just swaps the XLR connections to my channel when I switch to acoustic. It's for one song so no big deal.

I thought the newer vt series did have jazz chorus. (Shouldn't be a legal problem roland have an ac30 setting on there amps). I think the VT's can also bypass amps and cabinet so you may be able to use it just as a solid state poweramp in the eq mode and have a 4 band eq.
