W.T.T Gibson Minibuckers In P90 Rings For Gibson P90's....

I've got a 70's SG with the pseudo 70's Deluxe style mini humbuckers in it. As fun as they are I'm currently lacking a P90 guitar in my collection & figured perhaps someone out there got the P90 version & might like some mini-buckers instead. If so perhaps we can help each other out???

Don’t discount the minis man.. I have some from mojotone (Classic In the neck (7k, a4 42 pe)and hot rod (12k a8 43pe)in the bridge), and they are killer! (Mine are in a lp tho)

I really like those mini's fwiw, dig that model SG. Hildago from Los Lobos was using one when I saw them last year, sounded killer.

Yeah, the pickups in these are pretty cool!!! They can do aggressive just as well as they can do sweet & the split tones while using both pups are just sublime!!! The Mini-Buckers in this one are closer in design to Firebird pickups than the PAF Mini's of yesteryear. (Bladed instead of individual poles) They've got a really nice tone that sits someplace between a PAF & a Strat single coil...

LOL, the more I think about it the more I want to just keep them! I suppose I could just buy a cheaper set of P90's that can be swapped in & out at will but we'll see how this goes???
