Hey guys... I started a thread a while back asking what you thought the best wah was. I had a Dunlop GCB95 which is basically lifeless!
Well... first I got a Teese Wizard WAH off forum bro RockStarNick, he did me a great deal and WOW... fantasic Wah for heavier sounds with Humbuckers! This Wah is ideal for Sandman, Sweet child etc... very smooth but loads of subtle effect. Then a few of the guys on here recommended an Area 51 kit. So, I brought a Vintage Italian Wah drop in kit for the Dunlop rather than it sit there doing sweet F.A.
I've just got back from rehearsal and man... I've never heard Wah pedals sound so good. They both have distinctly different voices, but both sound great! Infact you can use the two together and get some really nice sounds... very unique. So, to RockStarNick... a BIG thank you for the Wizard, it's awesome... and thanks to all who offered their advice and opinions... and as for the Area 51, it's just so SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET. I've never eally been a fan of the whole Wah thing really, but now I've got 2 great pedals I'm going to be searching for more tracks to do with Wah in. The only thing at the moment is that I'm a bit heavy footed and inadvertantly turn them off while using them.... rest assured I'll be practising ALOT to overcome this. Thanks again to all who replied to my original thread.:beerchug:
