Wampler Cory Wong Compressor

I have five different compressors. Being a Telecaster player and primarily Country, I leave my compressor on all the time. I have, in recent years dialed back the compression. I saw this Wampler Cory Wong compressor and it looks very cool. I just can't justify the $$$$$ for it though.

Which compressor are you using the most? I am using a BYOC 5 Knob Compressor when I use a pedal compressor...I use a few different models of compressors with my Fractal FM3 and Line 6 HX Effects.

XLR out and separate footswitchable boost are pretty cool extras. I only use compression with my bass and I'm happy with what I have, but I would enjoy messing around with that. Wampler makes good stuff.

I have to say the compressors and EQs on the HX Effects knock it out of the park. Flexible, stackable, quiet. I use the Rochester Comp model with every bass patch I have, and the parametric and tilt EQs are super helpful.

I would say you can't go Wong with a Compressor by Wampler, but apparently you can!

That's not MY Compressor - but it does seem like a cool tool. That plus your OD of choice could go far...
