Warmoth Double Neck Bass/Guitar Plan

Hello! I am planning on putting together a double neck bass and guitar. I’m wanting the bass side to have a single P-Bass pickup, the guitar side to have 2 humbuckers, a 5 way switch for the guitar side, a 3 way switch for both necks, 2 concentric 500k knobs (each neck would have their own volume and tone), and a single input jack.

I’m wanting the Jazz/JB pickups for the guitar side. I’m not sure what to get for the bass side, I’m wanting a tone with plenty biting highs but not too hot of output. Maybe I should use a 1meg concentric pot for the bass side?

Have you played a double neck guitar before? This project would be hella expensive and it would be a shame for you to spend all that money just to decide you don't really like how the concept flashes out into reality.

Yep, I used to own an EDS1275 copy. I wasn’t too happy with the 12 string neck as the string spacing felt cramped, I didn’t use that part of the guitar much.

I didn’t mind the heftiness much though; but I’m wanting to have a combination of necks on a guitar I can use frequently. Since I play both bass and guitar, might as well have both.
